URAD: Monitor UV lamps and measure UVA, UVB, and UVC irradiance and dose

UWAVE has developed a measuring device is a portable UV measuring device for the determination of the UV irradiance and energy. This radiometer is consists on a calibrated UV sensor plugged to smartphone and app to display and read data. Depending on selected sensor calibration you can measure cover the whole UV spectra with UVC, UVB and UVA wavelengths

The URAD is a portable UV radiometer designed for measuring irradiance from 1mW/cm² to 10W/cm² (other ranges available on request) and energy data recording in industrial and research applications. All data can be saved through screenshots or exported as csv file to get precise.

The supplied smartphone serves as the display and control unit, on which a dedicated URAD app is installed. The sensor can be calibrated to different UV radiation sources. Also, the app can manage different sensors. After plugging in the sensor, this sensor and its calibration are automatically recognized by the device.

Operating range: For irradiance (given in W/cm²) from 1mW/cm² to 10W/cm² and for energy (given in J/cm²) that can be recorded

Multiple probes can be plugged into the smartphone to have the most complete measuring possibilities in the UV/blue range.
URAD detects automatically the specific probes, UVC/UVB or UVA/BLUE and the selected calibrated wavelengths:
