UFLEX: Flexible UV Line Flood (Curing, Bonding)

The UFLEX is a flexible and homogeneous UV LED line flood curing lamp suitable for a wide range of applications that need low UV energy such as bonding, disinfection, or fluorescence.

Thanks to its compact size, its integrated electronics, and its flexible length, the UFLEX stands as an ideal solution for machine integration.
Both manual & automated version are available depending on process parameters.

Robust and lightweight design for manual applications or to facilitate integration in harsh environments.
Flexible length to fit mechanical needs: from 10cm to 200cm.
Up to 50 mW/cm² irradiance in the UV-A range.

To cover all applications and comply with international standards, UFLEX is available in three versions:

- Flexible Length -

The UFLEX is a UV LED lighting with a flexible length to fit mechanical specifications and constraints.

Indeed, optical length can be adjusted using 5 LED increments (meaning 10cm increments) to meet process requirements.

L2 option is available for less powerful process, so only one LED every 2 positions using 5 LED increments (meaning 20cm increments here)

- UFLEX for Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) -

The UFLEX is perfectly suited for fluorescent Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) applications. Depending on selected version, wavelength and filter, it complies with different industry standards:

UFLEX – EN ISO 3059 : The UFLEX with selected 365nm LED is suitable for non-destructive testing according to EN ISO 3059 standard.

UFLEX – ASTM E3022 : Equipped with 365nm LED and the adapted Wood filter, the UFLEX 365nm is made for fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle testing and is compliant with ASTM E3022 standard.

UFLEX – CEN TR 16638 : The 450nm version of UFLEX with dichroic filter is compliant with CEN TR 16638 standard for inspection under blue light.

UWAVE has its own UV measurement laboratory, guaranteeing optimal performance and complete traceability. All our measuring equipment is verified by our partner BABBCO, a recognized specialist in NDT applications and radiometer calibrations.

- IP67 Compact version -

Compact (-CPT) option is a specific version for UFLEX to be used in harsh environments.

Its robust, non-openable mechanical design complies with IP67 standard for water and dust protection.
